- School subject support for all ages. Our tutors maintain communication with teachers and parents to ensure that the needs of the students are being met.
- The Orton-Gillingham Language Development Approach. This is a multi-sensory approach for teaching Reading and Spelling. It utilizes the three pathways of learning--visual, auditory, and kinesthetic. This approach is primarily used with children who have language processing difficulties associated with dyslexia, but is very effective for all reading students.
- The Nancibell® Visualizing and Verbalizing for Language Comprehension and Thinking® This program teaches students to create an imaged gestalt - a whole. It improves language comprehension, reasoning for critical thinking, and expressive language skills. The Lindamood-Bell® Method can be used alone, or in conjunction with the Orton-Gillingham Approach.
- The On Cloud Nine® Math: A Visualizing and Verbalizing® Math Program This program integrates concept and numeral imagery with language. It teaches students to image and verbalize math concepts and leads to better understanding. Instead of memorizing math facts, students learn to think, reason and problem solve with numbers.
